I have to plan a trip down to Gainsville sometime in the next month or so and figured since I was there might was well bring the boat and fish a day or so, so when would be the best time?? It would be durring the week. Also if someone could suggest somewhere to stay that is boat friendly that it would be safe to leave parked for a day.
Well for the most part fishing is always good but this hot weather has the bigger fish bite slow. I expect this will change and by the end of September, the water should be cooling off by then and the big boys will come play again.
Where in Gainesville do you have to go there are several places that are boat friendly. I may even be able to go out for a day if I know in advance.
Somewhere near Hayes Chrysler Dodge they are who I will be going to see.
