stand pipe on Ranger live well?

Does anyone use a stand pipe instead of a plug in Ranger live wells? When I use the plug at the bottom of the live well water overflows into the hull and battery areas. I have a 2018 VS 1782

There was a recent thread [in the last couple of months] here on this exact topic. I don’t have time to look it up right now, but with some effort you should be able to find it—if someone doesn’t answer you first.

Id be more concerned with why water runs into the bilge when it should go thru the overflow.

i think because it is completely full and running in the rear hatch, if not a bead of silicone on the top will remedy that issue
