I have a 04 225 H.O and the oil light and alarm went off this past weekend. The motor also shut down at the same time the alarm and light were on. When the boat stopped I put it in neutral and it fired right up and ran fine. I idled back to the ramp and it ran and sounded fine. The power head was changed out last July, and I have not had any problems with it since I got it back. The oil tank is 3/4 full.

Have your dealer check the codes in the EMM before you run it again.
This happened to me last fall. But it was very cold once the air warmed up the alarm went away. I got a update loaded and changed to x100 oil. Have not had a problem since. maybe the oil pump isn't pumping???
Had the same problem last year and the oil sensor was bad. This can be easily checked by disconnecting the sensor and looking for oil in the connection.
The shop called and the oil pump and the injector pump are both bad. These were both replaced last July with the new power head. Hopefully this is the last problem I have, the motor only has 4 hours on it so its not even done with break in yet.
