Just alittle courtesy on the water

Not gonna rant about it..... And im sure it was no active members of BBC, just alittle consideration....If i can cast and put my lure in your boat, you cut me off too close.... Big O is hot right now and its a parking lot... Show me the same consideration i show you.

    Re: (myron)

I wasn't fishing a tourney, he was. And to take the tone and I quote "if you don't like it meet me at the ramp" is BS!!! There was no one around within 200-300 yards of me either way and too park on me? Really? LOL. I was only investigating new water for further use. Believe me it didn't go down well.... I insured when I left that wouldn't be a fish there!!! 300hp salad shooter!!

That is everyday life on the potomac, last from may-october, i guess you just get used to it. Yes i dont agree with it but when 500 boats try to fish within a few 1/4/ mile areas it tends to get a little crowded. I know yesterday there were 199 boats in the BFL there on Lake O. I hate fishing in a crowd, i do not crowd people, if we cross paths thats one thing, but i do my best not to cut in front of someone. And if i do you can bet i will ask them if they mind.

Sorry didnt see your second post, yes if im the only boat within 300 yds and another guy comes in there, we are gonna have a few select words. And yes i would be willing to meet someone at the dock, if thats what they wanted. Hell if they want to fish that close to me, just jump in my boat and we can settle it right there, then go back to fishing...at least one of us.

If one has a concealed weapons permit and someone threats you would it be considered self defense? I hate when people do that! I m old school and always try and leave the use to be standard of 100 yards but now I date myself. Ya'll be safe out there and be blessed.

Thats when you trim your motor up and give him a bath.

The thought was a quick passing 1 considering his very much older non boater had nothing to do with it. He turned his back and never said a word.

    Re: (1outlaw)

We had a guy do this one time to us and I just started casting at his boat. We just cruised around him on the trolling motor and then moved. I go fishing to relax and I avoid the crowds even if I dont catch fish. Saturday on the northend of the lake was chaos because of the 200 boat tournement and there was heavy fog.

You know, it should not matter if you are fishing a tournament or not, being an ass is just being an ass plane and simple. I have never had a problem going behind someone and fishing "used water" I have caught a lot of fish that others missed, but I would never go in front of someone, just not in my makeup.

Deana would have been mad at me but that would have been my reaction for sure!! Not waiting for the dock!! Jason if ya had another 100# on ya he wouldn't have been so quick to mouth off!!!!!

I try not to get close to anyone unless were fun fishing together in the same area. Jerks!!

I had a situation like that. Guy pulled in on me, words were exchanged, Got a invite to settle it at the ramp, accepted his offer and whipped his azz. Never had another problem for 20 yrs. from anyone.

    Re: (Largemouthlou)

Now that sucks!! I find this with a lot of fishermen not just the tour. ones but it does seem to happen more with the tour. fishermen then anyone else.

That SOB would not have caught a thing that day with be running around his boat making a mess of the water he was trying to fish. The 300 salad shooter going at full bore.

    What an AZZHOLE!!!

The only reason I don't carry when I am fishing cause he would not have see the ramp again.

    Re: (Preston)

Speaking of..... Preston, did your dad say he had problems with two guys Sat? We polled down past two guys that had stakes out so we keep going. We passed your dad going the other way( said the normal tx stuff) and He said he had some stakes out. The only ones were the ones the other guys were on. by the time he got to them we were on down the grass bed. It sounded kinda loud. Didn't see him at the weigh in. They were both fishing when we left.
