been there and got the scar on a finger to prove it.....I was flipping some mats on orange lake and thump set hook bout crap my pants thought I had a beast got caught in the grass ran hand down line to find fish and you guessed it crunch that damn mudfish got the better part of my left index finger tip.....finally got the toothy critter out and mad minced meat out of his noggin with a knockin stick then threw him back for the birds. Got my hook back though so in my mind I won that battle after a few stitches later
