Have a small club tourney this weeend. I always struggle there. Can someone point me in the right direction? Is it better to lock out?
It's tough out there right now, but the river isn't much better. The water is as clear as I've ever seen it. (15' plus clarity) Fish the old river channel slowly and you should catch some fish. Last time I was out there was a couple weeks ago and we caught fish just throwing a texas rig along the edge of the barge canal.
There is at least one other small tournament out there this Saturday that I know of.
Headed back there this weekend. Any updates?
