I've always opted for George, Rodman or the river when down that way. A while back someone mentioned fishing Kerr. Is it a good option these days? What do you think?

id stick with the george / rodman route..
while kerr has some good fish in it, if youre not there during the spawn it can get get tough,,,,especially during the summer when the jet skiers abound....ya might wanna think about orange lake also,,,really depends what time of year youre fishing....
when ya coming down ?
From the first cold fronts till mid spring it's a good place u won't catch many big fish just a bunch of small fish, it's fairly deep compared to other Florida lakes and clear but your chances of catching a big fish are much better on orange or rodman, I hope this helps
nix kerr.while it can be a good numbers lake its not worth the trouble.usually a tough lake to fish well.as mentioned orange would be a good bet although the water is super low and can be frustrating to those who have never fished it before.
