Installing Garmin Live scope- minor questions please

Installing my live scope system on a 2018 zx250 and had a couple questions:

keeping the lowrance system that came with boat and adding a 1242 touch with live scope to the bow.

For the livescope module: can I pull Power from my power switch at the console? So it will be off when not in use? I was told by another that it’s best to connect straight to batteries, so I ran A 10 gauge hot and 10 gauge ground from rear cranking battery to the front rod box where I’m mounting the Module so I have Power there if not. But after thinking about it, I’d much rather pull from the master power switch at the console, and my 10 ga wires are running right by it

For the 1242 touch: can I splice into the elite TI power at the bow?

Depends how big the wires are on the master switch. If at least 12ga. go for it.
