anywhere you see water. Also you could try going down to 27 and fish any canal over there.

Where abouts are you staying? Any interest in killing snake heads?
What is your available date for the non-guided trip? My window of opportunity is small but it could work out.....

Plenty of snakeheads in Coaral Springs. Shouldn't be hard to find some bank fishing either, there are canals and neighbor hood ponds/lakes every where. We have our Lake Okeechobee rally that weekend...

Grew up in Coral Springs but half the places I fished from the bank you'd probably get the police called on you these days. Used to drive down to SR 84 (out west)and basically look for a spot that you could pull over without hassle and fish by any of the bridges. Just south of Coral Springs , there's the c-14 Canal, which runs along Southgate Blvd. Never know what you might catch in there. Wish I could get back down there cause my little boat would be great for those canals. Hope you have a blast with Alan. He's a good guy.

I hear Tradewinds park in Pompano is full of snakeheads. Very disappointing to hear since that was a good peacock fishery a few years back. Easy bank fishing there.

No live release. They are usually sitting right on the bank, very shallow. I've got many on a horny toad, twitching a weightless fluke...
