Report: Alligator alley

Went to the alley, first boat ramp on the north side, Mile marker 31.8 I believe or 34.8...launch at dark, as soon at the light came up the bite was ON, caught 15 bass and a 15lb mudfish all the bass were over 1lb...my boat buddy caught 3, but his were all over 2lbs...fished the underpass and both north and south side canals...used flukes and speedworms, down the lillypad lines and into them...

start time: as soon as enough light to see, bite ended by 11am...

I love MM31....it is also a great place to launch a kayak. Anybody been fishing the powerline cuts on US27 lately?

I fished the cuts or "fingers" under the powerlines a few weeks ago on 27, water was wayyy high, only caught a few dinks.. I fished both sides east and west of 27, west is the cuts or fingers under the powerlines and east is the everglades park rental airboat side....(I did have to re-launch and moved acorss the stree, it does not connect)...

On of my co-workers is kayak bass crazy and would be a great place for that type of boating, but this past saturday when I went to launch at dark, there was a nasty 10fter gator sittin in 2ft of water on the ramp...so plz be careful out there

went out this past saturday 10/23 on the alley mm 31, fished both north and south sides, caught 6 bass, largest was a 2lber, but all were close to it..air temp at 630am was 76-78 then got super hot, water temp76-78...the wind pickd up heavily at 930am about 10-15mph wind...and it was a full moon.. threw speed worms topwater into the pads' and then hit when it came off at the point where the pads meet the open water.
