Can I Live Stream Major League Fishing with Amazon Firestick?

I can do a search on the Amazon Firestick and open MLF and get a lot of old topics to review. But I can't figure how to download the app or watch the live stream tournament event.

I watch it on my phone or Samsung tablet through an app sometimes but can't figure how to get it on or off the TV... I am no a big watcher of fishing shows at all but watching a live event in the MLF format is entertaining...

    Thanks.

Yea you can. I do it every time. Open up your “internet” app which on mine is the Silk browser. Search “Major League Fishing” and take you right to the website. You’ll have to scroll around on that to get to the live part but it’s just like on your computer.

Thank you for your help. Yesterday I think I found what you are talking about and found a lot of screens with different subjects but could not find the live streaming screen. On my phone or tablet when I open the app there is a tab at the top that says live stream the ongoing event....I can go there live. But I am not finding that on the TV Firestick when I open it up.

I made a video of how to get to it. It’s to big to send as a single text message. I’ll try to get something better made for everyone.

MyOutdoorTV also streams the live BPT stuff for free even if you're not a subscriber, or at least they did for the last one.

Also, it's $10 a month or $99 a year. That's cheaper than Netflix or Hulu...not sure I'd consider that "brutally expensive," but I guess the threshold between what is and what isn't "brutally expensive" is different for everyone.

Load the iWebTV app on you phone and you can cast it straight to your firestick.....the free app has a few adds but you can pay a couple of bucks and get it without the adds

It's currently streaming on MyOutdoorTV. I subscribed for awhile, but canceled during the summer when I was actually on the water myself much more often. They sent me a "re-up" promo for $7.99/mo. and I grabbed it.

That makes a LOT more sense. I don't know you at all, but have read your posts for several years on BBC...I never figured you for a cheapskate, especially on that level!

They have a "Live" section, on the Apple TV app it's one of the top menu selections.

I was also able to confirm that BPT is streaming on the MyOutdoorTV app for free once again. If you download the app on the FireStick you should be able to access it without providing log-in credentials.

Use the Smart View feature on your phone to project to your TV.

JMO, but that just adds unnecessary complexity. As mentioned, open the Silk browsers on the Firestick and type in the major league fishing URL. Navigation is a bit of a pain with the remote but it works just like the web page on a PC.

For any live streaming I use this and a hdmi cable. Whatever is on the phone is on the tv. Works great and simple. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lightning...SABEgKb-vD_BwE

The Smart View feature is super easy and no special equipment or subscriptions needed.

What he said.....download the smart view if you don't have it.....open up the browser and get on mlf. Click on the live now tab at the top left of the screen. When the live feed comes up on the phone then click the smart view tab.....it will then come up on the tv screen. I then rotate my phone for a full 60 inches of viewing pleasure.

there really is no need for all this other stuff.

just use the silk browser and your remote and stream it straight from the website. Same as with bassmaster or anything on the internet.
