Roland Martin Marine Center and Xtreme Bass announce 2010 "STAY AND PLAY"

Roland Martin Marine Center is proud to announce the first in a series of "nearly" all-inclusive 2 day team bass competitions, aptly dubbed "Stay and Play" ! This inaugural event will be held on March 27/28, 2010 with additional events slated throughout the year.

The staff of Roland Martin Marine Center, in association with Xtreme Fishing Series, has developed this fun event to take the weekend bass tournament experience to another level. With a team entry of $500.00, the anglers will be treated to a heavy hors d'oeuvres assortment at the Angler's Meeting, held Friday evening @ 6:00 pm, a 2 night stay at the beautiful Roland Martin Marina and Resort, breakfast and a boxed lunch for both days of competition and a sumptuous rib eye steak dinner Saturday evening. Two complimentary drink tickets to be used at the world renown "Tiki Bar" will be offered to each contestant as well! Additionally,each angler will be given a Tournament T-shirt along with a Plano tackle box and gear, just for competing in this fun filled event!

Let's not forget the competition! Even with all the amenities listed above and with the maximum 50 boat field, the field will enjoy a 1 in 5 payback with 1st place winning $5,000.00! 2nd place will get $2,200.00 and the 3rd place team will walk away with $2,000.00. The 4th place team will receive $1,300.00 with 5th getting a check for $1,100.00. 6th place will be worth $1,000.00 and 7th place takes home $725.00. Finishing in 8th will get you $600.00 while 9th place garners $550.00 for their efforts. The final check for $525.00 goes to the team finishing in 10th place! Any "big bass" awards or "2nd" day money will be a side pot collected at the Pre-tournament meeting on Friday, March 26th (6:00pm). Again, this is a limited field event, so...sign up early! The above payout is based on a full field of 50 teams.

Xtreme Fishing will be handling registration for the event and has implemented a "2 pay" option for those wanting to split up the entry into 2 installments. Full balance ($500.00) for the team is due by March 15, 2010. Boat numbers will be drawn at the pre tournament meeting.
