    Motor Temp question

I have the lowrance 332c connected to my 2007 E-Tec 150 via the NEMA network.

Near WOT At 5200 RPM in 57 degree water the motor temp reading is around 120 degrees, If I let it idle for a while it goes up to 155-160 range. Is this normal? Just curious. It's running fine.

    Re: Motor Temp question (pioneer197)

Sounds about right to me, the engine will usually be warmer during idle, when at wot the bypass valve will be blown open allowing full cooling water flow. Make sense??
