Does anyone here use this sensor? This sensor converts the signal from an analog fuel sender to be read on a N2K network. I'm wondering how you calibrated your sensor. Instructions state to first enter "full" capacity of tank...in my case this is 24 gal. Then, after adding a given vol. of fuel, to add a calibration point by entering % of fuel in tank. The minimum number of calibration points required is two...the more points used the more accurate the reading will be.
My dilemma...my fuel sender is about 1.5" from bottom of the tank. This equals about 3 gallon of fuel when my existing analog gauge reads empty...i.e. "reserve" fuel. Let's say I add 5gal to an empty tank...should I calibrate this point as 5gal of 24gal (or 21%) or should I deduct the 3gal below the sender and calibrate it as 2gal of 24gal (or 8%).
