Can you folks in the know ...tell me if my "selling" dealer ever logged (BRP host database) my several returns to his shop for false code 38 alarms which he never cleared up for me ? (boat was delivered with the problem as my first ever run lasted 1 minute before going into safe mode "no oil")

To this day.. if it is cold (below 50F) in the morning the engine needs a 10-15 min warn up to clear its code and get out of "safe mode" before a day of smooth, problem free fishing.

My original 3 year warranty is up but I took the extended 7 coverage. Anybody know if this implies "BRP like" warranty coverage for the other 4 years...to clear up these code 38s

And 1 last question ....what S/W rev. version# is currently needed in my engine?)
