As a co-angler it could be rough to do what has been working for me. I have been junk fishing the sloughs off of the McReynolds catching some bank runners but my quality fish have been caught off of Bass Assassins from underneath the roaming. schools of shad. The best schools are the ones that are running along the deeper water and have the larger (2 1/2"-4") shad. There aren't enough schools of shad to stick with, but fishing shallowcover3-5 row while keeping an eye on the channel behind you should work. I had 11lbs out of Maple last Tuesday. Best was at low tide.. hope it helps
