I'm not going to ask where to fish next week cause I normally get my feelings hurt when people laugh aqt me. But can anyone tell me what they are biting? Rattle baits, crankbaits, color of spinnerbaits, nickel or gold blades, tandem, double colorado and type of plastics? I promise I won't come back for another year if you guys can hook me up on what to use for next week. thanks guys!

I was there for 4 days last week. Best bait for us was chartruese colored rattletraps.....both 1/4 and 1/2. The advantage to the 1/4 is that does not get hung up in the submerged grass as much. The water was dingy most areas and the chartruese seemed to work better. If water is clear use Rayburn Red.

Fishing was tough due drop in water temps and water levels. ON Wed the temps were low 50's but by Sun they were up above 58. The week before temps were mid 60's. Fish were confused!

from what i have heard and seen, i would use red, yellow, chrome with blue and black back rattle traps. also look on the banks, soem are making beds now. fish the grass where ever you can find it. lizzards are my favorite bait. zoom, watermelonseed, punkinseed, watermelon red texas rigged. if you are able, hit B. B. COMER bridge area, a teh lilly pads. then go into jones cove. way in the back across from the BOYS SCOUT CAMP is a little cove has a beaver house in it. hit the drop off there all the way to the back of it. last year i seen what could have easily been a double digit mamma on a stump.
