Try the group Jason mentioned. The ABA is a great orgizination. There is also a clubs list on the main boards not sure how up to date it is. You also can link up with someone from the site and fish the monthly BBC club event(NoAl) directed by Avery.

I'm a tournament director for the American Bass Anglers in North Alabama. Try their site and find a tournament near you. There is always and open spot for a co-angler.

There are several bass clubs with draw formats listed in the bass club tab. You might try that as well.
