Sad Sad Day

I just received a call from Brandon Bland (285 Pro XL) who is the tournament director of our CoAl. Today about 2 hours into their BBC tx a tragic accident occured. Travis Hightower (Fisher127) and his dad as his partner were fishing along the bank of the Alabama River when a dead tree fell onto the back of the boat. The impact of the falling tree was so great onto the back seat that it pushed it into the boat knocking Travis's father into the water. His body was recovered a short time later.

Al has made a post in the lounge already. I know we all join together in offering prayers to Travis and the Hightower family.

A very sad thing to happen. This tragedy is compounded by loss of a father the day before we celebrate Fathers Day......my heart and prayers for peace go out to this family.
