Looks like Lake Martin has won the votes by the narrowest of margarine's. The launch will be out of Wind Creek. Tournament hours are from safe daylight (@ 6:15-6:45) till 3:00. Be there early for the paperwork to get done.

Sorry guys I forgot about daylight savings time. The launch will be earlier @ 5:15-5:45. If you just get there before we take off you'll be ok.

Joe .....there are a couple of motels in Alex City you could stay at. Alex City is not very far from Wind Creek. I'v only stayed at the Horseshoe Bend Motel too many years ago to remeber, so I can't recommend one. I did a quick search and saw a Bst Western for a little less than $80. Below is a link to the cabins at Wind Creek, or they have a nice camp ground.

Our club stayed at Horseshoe Bend. They have been refurbished and are not bad. You can leave your boat hitched to the truck in the center grassy area.

there is a hotel on 280 -- it think the name is jameson inn -- other than that i dont know of any others --

and i did not say anything about buying lunch unless you like potted meat and dill pickles
