Wheeler has been selected for our September tournament, which will be held on the 20th. Registration will begin at 5:30 so everyone can "ease off" at first light which should be right at 6am. The launch site has not yet been determined so please make your selection when you sign up.

yes and it was a nice suprise we didn't expect it. but Id really like to try a differnt lake,besides the rest of these folks will only fish tenn river anyway. so there will always be an opportunity to fish tenn river again

The rest of us are broke and can't afford to fish lakes far from home.

Family, money, and schedule--in that order--affect when/where I can fish. When I know it falls right for me, I'll vote for the lake I can fish. If that lake doesn't win, but I voted anyway, I'll try my best to make the tournament if I can afford it. I'd love to go to Mitchell with the Southern boys, but I know that I'm dropping a lot of time and money in the next three weeks on fishing and will not be able to afford the trip down.

Maybe we need a TN River Chapter.

Point well taken, Jason. My guess, though, is that Upper Bear or Cedar Creek isn't any further from Killen than Ingalls Harbor. There's certainly not much difference in driving time anyway.

Perhaps we do need a Tennessee River Chapter after all.

I understand the money deal real well, the only way I can affrord to fish just the nortern bbc t,s was to stop fishing my local week nights and sat. t,s I couldn't win them either, but i enjoyed meeting new folks and seeing different lakes. I reelly liked to see on tv where a pro fished and then wonder why i couldn;t catch a few there ,probly talent or expertice. most of the lakes are far away for me even ceader and little bear are 45 miles to the ramp we used .

At first I was debating on traveling that far to fish, but I have a wedding annivesary that weekend that I just remembered. I think that trumps fishing.

Well, it's not like that's gonna take all day, is it?!?

Seriously, though, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make it, either. Our daughter's wedding is the 27th and it looks like some of the out of town guests might be arriving the weekend before, so I'm going to have to play it by ear for now.
