Matt.....I'm Rick Smith, member in bad standing of the SoAl BBC....that's the South Chapter of the Alabama BBC......we would love to have you join....go to the new members post and the requirements post on the Alabama page, see below.

We fish Eufaula, Jordan, Mitchell, Lay, Logan Martin, Millers Ferry, Al River, Martin etc......we fish the 1st Sat. of the month from safe light to 3 pm.

Our Northern (Yankee) counterparts fish the 3rd Sat of the month. As a member you can fish with them too....they fish the lakes north of I-20.

When you get the prerequisites aside you can fish with us as a boater. My telephone number is 334-313-2360...call any time

We vote on the site each month. The only non-variable is the 1st Saturday of the month.

Allen, I hope you have tied those fish out deep at Mitchell cause the water is dropping and we will not weigh in dried fish! You got by with it at Yates last month......but not again...I'm gonna protest this one!

Just imagine what next year will be like if we don't get the rain we need. Lake Martin will be nothing but a hole in the ground!!!!!
