SoAl Chapter - What to do in August?????

Alright Guys, here is the sitch. Our regular August tournament will be on 8-4-07. I will not be able to be there nor will Rick or Eddie. We can still have it. But someone else will have to take the lead for this one. Or, we can vote to move it until the 2nd weekend. 8-11-07. This move would be just for August. Or, we can just vote to just skip August. So if you will just post a vote for one of the following:

1. "Skip it" - We'll pick back up 9-1-07
2. "Fish it." - We keep the 8-4-07 tourney and someone volunteer to be TD for August
3. "Move it." - We move it to the 2nd Weekend just for August 07 and return to 1st in sept.

I'll keep this thread open for voting through Saturday 7-14-07. If you vote "Fish it" go ahead and vote for your lake.

How about we make it the 3 rd Weekend, and the north and south clubs fish together for one month? Just a thought !

the only way that's gonna happen is to choose a mid state lake i.e. Logan Martin. Even then you wont get a big turnout. I like the idea though and I would vote for it.

Is Wheeler or Guntersville a middle of the state lake?

If it's not, how about Smith?

The majority of our members are between Montgomery and the Tennessee line. I know there are some down south, but I talking about the majority.

So, Logan Martin is not a central lake. Smith would be. Over two hours from my house and two hours from Montgomery.

Heck, let's just fish Smith every month.

I'll be doing that this weekend and next weekend. The annual Wal-Mart/Stratos Children's Miracle Network tournament is the 21st.
