Northern Chapter sign up here to fish Guntersville on Dec 16th!!

It looks like Guntersville was a unanimous decision for December! Does anyone have any particular ramp they would prefer? As everyone remembers from last year, the weather in December can be brutal so I'd suggest we put in close to where everyone's planning on fishing. My first thought would be to use the one just across the causeway at the entrance to Covenant Cove but the state park might be closer to fishable areas without running a lot of open water.

I'm in, ramp doesnt matter too much to me, I do remember it can be very tough if we hit a nasty day out there. State park sounds like a good plan. Or water front, it's on the north shore, if there's a strong north wind that might help.

And it sounds like the ramp at Spring Creek, which is the one I think you and Alan are talking about, seems to be in the lead as far as locations go.

I think we've pretty much decided on the Spring Ceek ramp at the Municipal Park, which is the one on Wyeth Drive just off of US431. In fact, if you're staying at Covenant Cove, it'll be on your left just after you turn off the highway.

With very few exceptions, we've always begun at first light and weighed in at 3:00. We ought to be able to "ease off" at first light if we meet at 5:45 or 6:00 for registration.
