Jump up to the "Let's pick a lake for August....." thread and suggest Millers Ferry. It has been discussed several times but hasn't been voted in yet. I think now might be a good time for it to win. As you read in the info links I sent to you we do everything by vote so the members run this club and have a say in everything.

Please understand that the 30 day rule wasn't pointed at you. For one thing I don't think a fellow from Enterprise, AL would have an inside track on the best fishing spots at Logan Martin but had you popped up to fish Eufaula then that might have raised some eyebrows. The problem we have had in the past is when we were going to fish Lake "A" and someone who lives close to Lake "A" and fishes it all the time joins our club a few days before our tourney just to fish Lake "A" and never fishes with us again.....well that's not fair to the rest of the members. So we created that 30 Day Rule to keep that from happening. We want our regular members to benefit from the winnings of our club. I hope you understand and appreciate this.

The 30 day rule is no big deal. I was fishing with a group of guys down this way today so I couldn't have made it on short notice. Plus I understand why the rule is there. I will go to the pick a lake and vote. Thanks again for your help.
