    Replacing rod rack on passenger

    I want to replace the original 7 rod rack with something that holds more rods and easier to get them in/out..Anyone have any suggestions..The boat is a 1999 TX21,same hull as a TR.

    I made my own model after the ones in the newer toons. I can now hold 13 rods in it. Made it out of plywood and painted it white. Used 1.5 plastic golf tubes for the rod tip end.

    Here's a link to pictures the change I did on my TR21
    the one I used came out of a 21x boat
    It worked but took a lot of cautious fitting and refitting

    Thats nice.Is the handle end out of a 21x also,it looks aluminum.

    yes both pieces came out of a 21x
    The handle end is actually the same plastic a carving board is made out of. I did use an aluminum strap to support the back side of it

    Might try to make some myself out of cuttting board just dont know where ton get it.

    I like many have used golf club tubes, but need bigger ones for spinning rods. Bigger tubes are not easy to find. After weeks of searching, I finally found a company with lots of tube options. Did I find it here on BBC? Probably! Regardless, check out this selection of tubes:
