Attwood Cover and Trolling Motor

I have a Tr-186 and the factory Attwood cover that came with the boat. I have a Motorguide with a 3 blade prop. I had a device from Propcover.com that snapped over the prop and it worked perfectly at keeping the prop from hurting the cover. Sadly if has fail and even worse i cannot find a replacement anywhere. So, What are you guys doing to keep the trolling motor prop from puncturing your cover?

I keep a towel in the boat and wrap that around the prop. Some guys buy the neoprene covers motorguide sells.
