Call From BRP about Updates

I just received a call from BRP about some updates for my motors. They said it was "important" that I get to the dealer to get the updates. Does anyone know what these updates do? Thanks alot for any info ...

i just got the same call. (i had a new powerhead installed in Nov.) i called BRP and the guy i spoke with said it had to do with mapping changes.

Yes, I also had a new powerhead installed a few months ago on the starboard engine.

There hasn't been a softwar update on your motors since Oct. 2006. Now if you have had a recent powerhead change, there is an important update for certain 2008 models and replacement blocks.
