livewell trouble

Im having trouble with livewell when i recirculate them water comes out my air intake . just the starb. side well does it.

I can see that happening if the recirc nozzle was plugged right where it entered the livewell. If you have a screw-on piece that disperses the water as it enters the livewell. Unscrew it and take a look…..

Have you recently put in a bigger gph pump?

didnt happen when i upped mine from 500 to 750 gph, im thinking clogged discharge backing up the system ...

I did go from 500 to 750. it worked fine for the first year or so.

I agree. has to be a clogged discharge line, these are hooked to the inlet side of the pump. Surely you did not hook the pump up backwards did you Even with a clogged discharge, seems a bit strange to be coming out the max air hole, this should be under a negative pressure on the inlet side of the pump even with a clogged discharge, very odd.
