    Max-Air

My Triton has a black "Max Air" intake mounted on inside of the gunnel by the livewells. There is hose running from it to my livewell pump.

I assume this is some sort of aeration device, but how do you turn it on???

It uses a vebturi effect and pulls in air when you turn the recirc on.

Hope this helps. Like said above it only works when the recalculation button is ON. As long as you are not recalculatiing the live well it is off.

    Re: Max-Air (TritonCowboy)

when u have the livewell full and turn on the recirculate switch you can feel the hole in the black fitting on the inside of ur gunnell it will have a little vacum to it. it pulls air in and adds it to the water u dont have to do anything.
