Someonne was telling me yesterday about a systen like this. It help catch some really nice people who stole a boat with a stolen truck and the law caught them going down the highway. I think he said, it even made live TV.

Smartphone app is free. There is a service plan that needs to be purchased in conjunction with the unit. 89.99 or 7.50 month for 1 year OR 199.99 5.56 for 3-years.

For about the same price as a nice rod and real you can track your boat for 3 years. This is also less then most insurence deductables
