    Stroker's & 2.5 225 Promax's

If a guy was in the market for a Stroker, how would the 2.5 promax perform? Is it ideally a 3.0 litre or better hull due to its size? I gues it would be good to hear from you guys that are running the Promax's on this hull. What do you guys with Promax's think of your setups? I

they are easier to drive with a 2.5 and they run good. they wont turn the big props a 3.0 does so when you load them you have to use a smaller prop and turn the rpms to get the hp
The 3.0 vs the 2.5 light will be close with a 225 but the 3.0 will out run it in the long run loaded

Mine runs in the 80's. Thats good enough for me for now.
Carrys a fishin load good and planes off in the blink of an eye with a 28 Bravo. Doesnt feel under powered to me, then again I have not driven one with big power.

    Re: Stroker's & 2.5 225 Promax's (trashy)

I ran a 2000 225 ProMax for 6 years. I had my props worked so my max rpm was around 6600. Best speed was 89 mph but 87 with me and tackle was something it would do every time out. Loaded for a tournament with 2 on board, 83 was it.
