It appears mine is out of comission for a little bit.

Went fishing Sat. mornin down where I grew up on the Tenn-Tom Waterway. I hadn't been there in a couple years plus my 10 year high school reunion was this weekend so I figured what the heck....might as well bring the boat. That has proved to be an ill fated decision. I hit a sandbar (where it used to be 10ft. of water) doing about 45mph, thank goodness I wasn't going any faster or it could have been bad. Luckily no damaged occured to the boat.

    Here's the carnage.

95% of the the paint was on the skeg before I hit it. Not anymore.

That's rough, at least the boat and you are ok.

Looks like you need a new depth finder as well...

Sorry about your luck though really... Sad when this stuff happens.

I totaled a procraft bottoming out, I know what carnage can be..

Nathan, that looks like the filler has cracked where the cone was put on. Does not look like structural damage? Grind/sand the cracked stuff out, replace with marine tex or go back with the bondo. Sand smooth, paint flat black, have a cool barley pop and go fishing Probably less than 25 bucks total. Had the same thing twice on a Bob's cone I ran. The filler cracks all over, but the weld where it was attached and LU was still good.
Hate to see it, hope your Grrfren wasn't with you. The embarassment would be worse than the damage
