    How's this look?

I've been looking for an older OMC 115 hp, without much luck. I found this one on ebay, and I'd like to give it a try and rebuild one. I'm in no real hurry, as my current motor is a '78 and has under 250 hours. Are the parts still readily available? If I can get it for under a few hundred bucks, I feel like I can take my time, and really learn about the workings of these motors. I have a good concept of them, but most extensive thing I've done on my motor is replacing the reed valves, carburetor work, and replacing the water pump. I have rebuilt older 350 chevy motors, and I'm sure the concept is basically the same.

Clinton Ct. is right on the shore, I would suspect it has been used in salt water,be careful of corrosion, seller also states he won't ship it.

I was worried about the corrosion too, but it looks pretty good. I am willing to go get it, its about 5 hours from my house - would cost me about $75 in gas round trip in my s10.

Good motor, simple to work on and parts available, good choice for the money!
