    what type of fluid

    what type of fluid do i put in my tilt and trim unit ? the book says OMC but i dont have a place close that i can get it , will any T/T fluid work (99 150 johnson)

    If memory serves me correctly but, I must check in with the Boss Man (ChampionNman) but, can't he substitute, TT fluid with Dextron if he can't find any TT fluid?

    Or is it brake fluid? , Nope doesn't have to OMC/BPR, Merc, Hammer, West Marine will a work.

    Sigh Dextron is not Brake fluid. I guess since I work on cars I know the difference between transmission fluid and brake fluid. You work on boats, er dey don't got no brakes.

    well i went to academy and got pennzoil tilt and trim fluid , got it filled up and its working great , thanks for the input guys

    I KNOWS what dextron and mercron are. Been a long time for substitutions of fluid.
