    orderd 186xt

    Today I ordered a 186xt with a 115date etec. On the bow will be a Minnkot Terrova with I pilot. For electronics 2 HDS 7,s with struture scan networked. Also having am/fm siruus radio installed. 2 bank charger. Red with silver flake interior black bottom. Can't wait for the season to open in May.

    It's just like mine, other than the black on the bottom. I like the metalflake gray above the red, mine is all white and shows every speck of dirt.

    Great looking boat. Like that black bottom and really like the seats. I've got a '07 176xt with the old style seat and looking to upgrade. Looks like now's the time to do so. You've bought a great boat that's going to surprise a lot of folks. Hope you get some fish slim on the carpet SOON.

    Congrats! I got my 186XT last April and have not had a single thing to fix or adjust. You will enjoy it. I would do it over again in a heartbeat.

    I've got the 176xt as well as a 201 evo.
    I find myself spending just as much time in the 176 as the evo....especially if I'm fishing alone.
    Plenty of storage for a 17ft boat PLENTY.
    I have put a fortrex 24v tm on it and added structure scan, a talon, two hds 7s and a hydrowave.

    I'm running a 21p stainless (Merc Laser II) at the moment with excellent results on my 115 optimax. I started with a 21p Merc aluminum and had good results with that; even drilled vent holes in it for a better holeshot, but the erosion from the exhaust would have eventually worn grooves in the prop.
    I'm sure Matt 5.0 will be very curious to see how you make out with your prop choice!
