    Tongue Release Pin/Handle

    I am having difficulty getting the release handle to turn so I can lift it and release the tongue. Any suggestions?

    Not sure what you are referring to when you say “release handle” and “release the tongue.” Also, please tell us the year and model of boat/trailer. Are you trying to uncouple from the tow vehicle, or something else?

    No disrespect, but the locking pin on the bottom isn’t still in is it?

    When you do get it out, lube it with some good oil.

    They can be tight. Probably just in a bind. Wiggle the tongue as you pull out. Have to find that free spot.

    Time for some oil. I like fluid film myself because it seems to last longer than other other products....
