2000 295 Pro Elite - Dash Graph - What fits in factory cut out?

I am currently going through and doing a partial restoration on a newly aquired '00 295 Pro Elite. It currently has a working Lowrance X85 in the dash and I am installing a Lowrance Elite 7 Chartplotter/Graph on a ram mount. But, I am replacing ALL the dash plates on the boat (Thank You C&O Marine) and thought I might slap a new graph in the factory cut out while I have it apart. I am partial to Lowrance, I am looking for something I can mount using a shoot thru the hull transducer, it would basically be a back up graph in case my Elite 7 goes down or I forget my units at home, and I have an HDS 5 to mount on the bow. It seems a Lowrance Mark 5 would be quite an upgrade to the X85 at a very affordable price????? Maybe an Elite 5 or HDS 5 if I can find a deal. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm courious myself. I'm planning on buying a 99 295 next month and I'm hoping that a 798 Humingbird will fit in the dash.

I don't know how different my 05' 295 is from yours, but I installed a 522c years ago & had to enlarge the opening.

I believe the Elite 5 should fit. It's very close, if not the same.

Thnaks folks, I actually posted this question on a couple different websites and didn't get any responses for awhile. I went ahead and picked up a used but in great shape X85 to keep as a spare. Figured I could just plug it in and go if my other unit goes out. Thanks again

Pretty sure the Lowrance X 65 was the unit that came in the boat.
