I have a '97 201 Pro XL with a 2001 Johnson 225 HO and a 6" Pro Hi-Jacker plate. I am running a 13 1/2 x 27 4 blade Renegade prop. Runs 70 mph witha tournament load at about 5600 rpms. Looking for a better hole shot. Any suggestions? Thanks much.

What is prop to pad measurement? Have you tried a hole shot plate?
I replied in the setups forum also, you need a 25 Renegade ......better holeshot and it will get the rpm closer to 5900 where it needs to be.

It attaches to the under side of the JP. Wouldnt worry about it with just a 6" plate.
