livewell pumpouts

how do you add livewell pumpouts to a 2004 stratos 201 pro xl that didn't come with pumpouts???

Chekout flow right they have a set up using a recerc pump and airerater adapter. Thinking about putting one on my 285.

I had installed the pump-out aerator on my Champ 201 and it worked well for a divided livewell. The aerator it replaced was near the center of the livewell so it ended up being a pretty good reach back under the rear pedestal moun to get to it.

My Champ 210 has a T fitting in the livewell drain hose between the livewell and drain valve. The T runs to a pump that pumps out a through hull fitting on the back of the boat. Would cost a little more than the pump-out aerator, but extremely simple and only requires a switch at the console to turn the pump on & off.

doesn't look very complicated. thanks for the info. thought my boat came through with pumpouts but i guess not. just recirculates the water as well as adds fresh

You might wanna do a search on this. I have an '05 201xl and didn't think I had pumpouts either. If you look in the live well I believe you will see two pumps...one white and one red. I think it's the red one that can be pushed in (or pulled out, can't remember) in its sleeve and it will act as a pumpout. You can do this for one or both livewells. I did it to one of them so I could have a pumpout and left the other one with dual recirc.

If it has pump out's on it, you will have two discharge holes on the port side of your boat for pump out, and two on the starboard side for bilge pumps. And like said before the recirc nozzle in each livewell will be red. Push the res nozzle in for recirc and pull it out for pumpout. The white nozzle will be your fresh water pump.

i know there are 2 discharge holes on the port and starboard sides of my boat. i will look when boat comes back from dealer for spring tuneup

did you try pulling out on your aireator heads?? mine pull out and reroute the recirculate water to pump out mode,,fill your wells with a water hose turn on livewell pumps and gently pull out on heads,they block off heads and reroute water out port holes,
