Looking at an 04 295 XL.. have a few questions

Hey guys I currently am in the market for a new newer boat. My 98 Sprint 277 with a 150 XR6 Merc is for sale. I am looking all brands, and am wanting an 18-19 foot boat as the boat I have now is 17'5". I been looking at Tritons, Skeeters, and a couple of Stratos but one is catching my eye. It is a 04 295 XL DC with a 200 HPDI Yammer. Are Stratos a pretty quality boat? My primary lake is Table Rock and it gets rough so I am looking for a good rough water bass boat. For being 17 foot my Sprint has been awesome I have never had a bit of trouble with it, and have had it in some nasty water. Also what kind of speed do 285's with a 150 and 295's with a 200 run? Do they handle well at speed? They are asking $19995 for the 295 I am interested in, but I'm thinking more along the lines of 16-17 for it.

I would think that price is way to much for a 2004. Much better deals out there on newer model 294 and 200's for that price range. But you will be very happy with a stratos.

For used boats the 295/294 Strats are best in class for ride and speed. Storage is layed out perfect to. 285's you will see around 65mph.....the 294/295 will see 70 +.

My old 294 ran mid to high 70's with a 200 depending on load.
