Hello all! I have pretty much been a Triton Guy but I am looking at a 2005 Duo Pro 201 with a Yammy 225 on it. I'm not going to ask you guys how fast do you think this boat will go. :) Was wondering if Stratos has any problems with chime walking and does Stratos use any wood on their boats including transom? Also how does the 201 handle rough water? TIA!

Handles rough water great.
It will walk if you aren't used to it. I never noticed it in mine, but someone that had never driven an aired out 201 would say that they do. You coming from a Triton should have no problems.

Have had my 2005 since it was new, It has a 250 Yammy and never noticed and walking, then again I have a 4 blade prop for stability wasn,t worried about how fast it was 70 is good enough for me

2005 201 STRATOS
Passed several other brands in my 201 when the water got rough, passed several other brands when the water wasn't rough. Chine walk is no where close to a triton. I really don't notice any chinewalk, but I come out of a 900lb bullet that cut a few 75mph+ U-turns before the hull was fixed. You can't go wrong with the model boat you are looking at.
