If your boat is like this one, I don't know why you couldn't, I installed first one on my 94 270 Stratos and many javelins and stratos since. If you have the deck space then you should have no problems, no issue have been reported to me. You may also want to remove front console and look under there with a mirror and flashlight or simply stick a digital camera in there and take a picture to see whats going on.
