I am not sure about the motor, but that Jav 379 is a sweet boat. I owned a 94 379T for 2 years and loved it. It had a 94 Evinrude Intruder 150 hp on it and ran excellent. I sold it last year for 6800, and if I wasn't in a hurry I think I could have got more for it. If yours is in good condition the price seems pretty reasonable. Those boats are quick too. I had mine @ 67.1 GPS.
