Stratos Famous Stripe's

What year did stratos change it famous stripes , just love them old style stripes .Even on the older Ranger and the winner's boats guess iam old school .

2003. Some of the 03's had the old stripes, some had the new "wave". I opted for the old stripes

The old, old, stripes ended in '99 I believe.


This was also the year that the old stripes began (on the SS hulls). Those stayed on the 19, 20, 21, and 22 SS boats ('99, '00, '01) and then the 18, 19, 20, and 21 XL boats through '03.


Also in '03 is when the new stripes started on the 185, 195, 200, and 201's. Those have stuck around through present day with a small adjustment to the wave in '07.

The subtle change to the wave....


Now, for 2011 with the Elite series, there is also new striping (carried over from the Champs).

The tribal "wave" as you cal lit is without a doubt one of the best looking in the industry IMO.

Very bold, makes an "in your face" statement like Stratos performance.

Well that arrow in the Elite striping is as important, if not more important, to the Champ folks as the wave is to the Stratos folks....

Yeah, the Champion stripe has a lot more parts, pieces, and character than the "wave" we have on our rides. You need to get over the fact that your cousin moved in to the house and made things that much better!

the extreme was one of the best looking boats ever made,and that blue and white really pop. i always wanted one but that rude on the back always turned me off.
