Rub-Rail replacement?

I have a 2000 Stratos Bassboat 18' 3" w/91" Beam. Question I have is for the very near future. How difficult is it to replace the rub-rail on this boat.<u></u> Looks like right know I only need to replace about a 2' section of the rub-rail base section the round insert portion is OK. Never mind folks I found a video online pretty much showing detail installation of boat rub-rails. They make it look so easy but i know different. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Should be no big deal. I would suggest to put a mark at the center of the bow on the old rub rail before you remove it. Measure this point and mark it on the new rail. Then when you install the new one start at that point on the bow. This way you are sure to be the right length when you attach rail on both sides at the transom.

Pain in the arse! Must use 2 people and do it in the sun for some heat on the rubber and start from the front and be sure to stretch as much as possible,,,,,,there it is in very simple terms! Done quite a few and can be a pain........
