    help with non-working trailer lights

My trailer running lights will work five minutes after driving, then start to flicker and shut off completely. My brake and turn signals still work but no running lights.

I have no idea where to begin since I have already changed every 20 amp fuse in the '09 truck.

The trailor is a 2006 Stratos single axle.....

any ideas or input would help a great deal preventing bigtime tickets.

Re: help with non-working trailer lights (Fisch_NBT)

I just went through this with my trailor. You have a bare wire. You also have some blown fuses.? I had two blown fuses. I have a Chevy. One was a 10 amp and the other was a 15 amp. One was the back light for the trailor and I can't remember what the other fuse was. I did find where the wire rubbed against the trailor. Check where your wires come out to your side markers, then work your way back to your tail lights. I just use chaulk around the hole the wire runs through. Tape the wire or splice it. My wire wasn't broke so, I taped it real good.
