    Non-skid

So after replacing the foam and floor and carpet in my boat i am looking for the non skid that goes on the front bow. I would prefer rubber but non skid will work as well. I also sanded the trailer down to bare metal and repainted it and am looking for the same thing for the trailer....thanks in advance.

I think, I seen some at home depot ,you could cut to size, if you cant find it elsewhere

    Re: Non-skid (rooster tail)

I went to a skate board shop and got 3' of grip tape. I use it on the trailer arch in the front, it deflects rocks and debris w/o scarring and is where I seem to always step out onto. I also put pieces on the trailer inline w/ the middle storage boat bins so I can stand on the trailer at that place w/o slipping.
I paid less that $10 for my grip tape, it is available in colors and lasts for ages. Its not the rubberized stuff thats OEM like by the trolling motor, but works as well or better.

    Re: Non-skid (k2rider18)

I went to a local body automobile body shop and they gave me a long piece and I cut it for the areas that I wanted to have good footing(swing tounge, trolling motor, etc.) Most body shops install running boards so I figured they would carry it.

I have ordered from these guys in the past. Great customer service! I think he told me when I talked to him that most of the boat manufactures purchased from him.
