    2000-2005 EFI outboard efficiency

Thanks for the help everyone! Im just about to purchase a bass boat and in my price range i am finding alot of relatively new EFI motors(2000-2003) 150-200HP and i was wondering how bad they really are on gas compared to a DFI, Ièm a little nervous to pull the trigger on the EFI because of the cost of gas but if it is a realatively new motor in good shape and ièm NOT driving like a bat out of hell should it be relatively efficient??? any suggestions???

    Thanks again!

I gonna guess that the motor is a Merc. They perform well and relatively trouble free but like any motor if you keep your foot in it, the gas gauge goes down as well.
