    Modifying a Trailer

    Hello,

So my quest for a new boat continues. Two that I like, dont have a retractable/hinged tongue which I need in order to fit it in the garage. I've called two local Stratos dealers one says it can be modified, the other says they cant. the one I'm looking at is a 2003 200 Pro XL on a dual axle trailer. Does anyone know if I can modify it?

    Tks

    Re: Modifying a Trailer (akropinski)

I would think any boat trailer could be modifed w/ a swingaway tongue just some easier than others. This question would be best asked in the Trailers & Towing section. Someone there could probably give you part #'s needed for your trailer.

The swing-away tongues can be added. I think C&O may even have them on their parts site.
